The Stronghold Society is a Native American organization seeking to support youth through suicide intervention. They have been utilizing skateboarding as a key tool in this project. Stronghold Society supports a "Skate for Life" Program and several skateparks - Wounded Knee 4-Directions Skateparks. Nationally there has been a call to #changethemascot of the Washington Redskins. The US Patent and Trademark Office just took a giant step to do just that - revoking the trademark for the football team and bringing Washington and the nation one step closer to #changingthemascot.
